MAGNOLIA -- The funeral for Franco Frederick, 76, 451 Brooks Quinn Road, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor E.T. Coston officiating. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery.
He died Tuesday at Duplin General Hospital.
He was the son of the late Annie Bell Frederick and Joel Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Frederick of the home; a son, Franis Frederick of Virginia Beach, Va.; four daughters, Betty Caraway of Rose Hill, Condelia Williams of Wallace and Felecia Hillard and Velma Frederick of Hampton, Va.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
A viewing will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
