Shirley Sykes Bright, 69, of 130 Rivenbark Farm Lane, Magnolia, died Wednesday at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill. The Rev. Ervin Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia.
Her survivors include four sons, Ernest R. Bright and Donald Bright of Clinton and Cleveland Bright and Michael Bright of Magnolia; two daughters, Gail Bright of Magnolia and Doris Turner of Baton Rouge, La.; one stepdaughter, Bertha Lee Kenan of Midland, Texas; two sisters, Estelle Dafford of Rose Hill and Catherine Alfrod of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.
