Marjorie Cecile Carter, 81, died Wednesday at Liberty Commons in Benson.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member. Father Joseph Ntuwa, O.S.F.S., will preside. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Carter was born in Sampson County to the late Joseph and Stella Giddens Futrelle. A homemaker, she was the widow of Noel Dean Clark and Garland Bradshaw and was married to Ray Carter of Goldsboro.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, John Bradshaw of West Palm Beach, Fla., John Clark of Goldsboro, Garland Bradshaw of Warren, Ohio, and Jan Bradshaw of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Ellen T. Hall of Garner and Marjorie Bandiero of Willow Springs; four sisters, Ruth Drzewiecki, Louise Kolodzieyezyk, Alma Hill of Newton Grove and Catherine Bryan of Newton Grove; and 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Rommie G. Bradshaw and Joseph Howard Bradshaw; two brothers, Hubert Futrelle and John Futrelle; and one sister, Katie Harper.
The family will receive friends at the church at 10 on Friday morning, during the hour prior to the funeral.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
