PAUL E. LUTTENBERGER
Died Jan. 31, 2006
Retired U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Paul Edward Luttenberger, 63, of 409 North Cottonwood Drive, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Ordelt officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Luttenberger was a native of Zanesville, Ohio, and was the son of the late Fred J. Luttenberger and Elizabeth Risen Miller. He served in the Air Force for 20 years, and following retirement, worked with civil service for 16 years as a special agent with the Defense Investigative Services. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce S. Luttenberger; three daughters, Christine Roe and husband Steven of Newport News, Va., Corrie Medlin and husband Justin of Vogelweh, Germany, and Susan Jennette and husband Robert of Goldsboro; his son, John Luttenberger of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, Stephani Roe, Jaymi Roe, Sherry Jennette, Robbie Jennette, and Matthew Jennette; his sister, Barbara Bolin of San Diego, Calif.; and his brother, Fred Luttenberger of Cedarville, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Lutten-berger; and his sister, Lois Wilson.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and other times at the residence.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home.
