Oscar Edward "Ed"Howell, 85, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Howell was born on January 17, 1921, in Wayne County to the late Charlie Howell and Effie Flowers Howell. He had worked as a marketing representative, with 35 years of service with Carolina Power & Light Company.
A graveside service will be private.
Mr. Howell is survived by his wife, Justine Pearsall Howell.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel, and a brother, Delmus, who where both natives of Wayne County.
Arrangements are being handled by Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
