DUDLEY -- Pauline Barwick Haire, 90, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mrs. Haire was born on June 30, 1915 in Wayne County to the late Earnest Jackson Casey and Mary Hood Casey. She was married to the late Davis Gordon Barwick Sr. and P.H. Haire. Mrs. Haire was a member of Brogden Chapel P.F.W.B. Church.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom Dorman. Burial will follow in the Holmes Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Haire is survived by two daughters, Jean B. Chase of Dudley and Virginia B. Holmes and husband, N.C. Holmes of LaGrange; one son, William S. Barwick and wife, Marita A. Barwick of Lawton, Okla.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Benjamin F. Barwick and Davis Gordon Barwick Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brogden Chapel PFWB Church, 1060 Emmaus Church Road, Dudley, N.C., 28333, or Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of her daughter, Jean Chase, 724 Sleepy Creek Road, Dudley.
