Eva "Duck" Sauls Best, 76, of 428 Buck Swamp Road, died Wednesday at her home.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery with the Rev. G. James Frasher officiating.
Mrs. Best was a native of Wayne County and was the daughter of the late Wyatt C. Sauls and Eva West Sauls. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Ray "Bud" Best; two daughters, Vikki B. Mercer and husband, Donald, of Goldsboro and Barbara Dunn and husband, John, of Princeton, N.J.; four sisters, Helen VanBenthuysen, Jewel Chestnut, Margaret Anderson and Patsy White, all of Goldsboro; and one granddaughter, Kate Mercer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 1715 Royall Ave., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
