DUDLEY -- The funeral for Loretta Durham, 49, of Alexandria, Va., will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Greater St. John Freewill Baptist Church, 613 Mitchell Road. Pastor William A. Mitchell Jr. and the Rev. Jimmy Mumford will officiate.
Miss Durham died Saturday at St. Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.
She is survived by four sisters, Jeannette Bowden of Mount Olive, Geraldine Williamson of Clinton, Shirley Bennett of Alexandria, Va., and Jacqueline Barnes of Warwick, R.I.; six brothers, Wade Durham Jr. of Mount Olive, Malcolm Durham of Lanham, Md., Charles Durham of Upper Marlboro, Md., Joseph Durham of Winston-Salem and Donald R. Durham of Cheverly, Md.; and seven nephews and six nieces, seven great-nephews and ten great-nieces.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 911 Thunder Swamp Road, Mount Olive; and other times at the home of Franklin and Jeannette Bowden, 411 Thunder Swamp Road.
Butler and Son Funeral Home in Clinton is serving the family.
