MOREHEAD CITY -- Mary Lee Wiggs Moore, 85, of Bertie, died Aug. 31 at the home of her daughter in Bertie.
She was born in Kenly and was the daughter of the late Johnnie Preston and Mamie Hill Wiggs.
She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Morehead City. She was the wife of the late Bill Moore, former chief of police of Atlantic Beach.
The funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 2., at 10:30 a.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church of Morehead City with the Rev. Mance Cason officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. in Kenly Cemetery of Kenly.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathlenn Wiggs Overman and Edith Wiggs Kinsey.
She is survived by a daughter, Patsy Moore Willis of Bertie.
Arrangements are by Coley Funeral Home.
