Ivan Carey Cohen, 61, of 803 Mill Road, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Cohen was born April 19, 1944 in Greensboro to the late Alvin and Rosalind Startz Cohen. He had worked in the recycling business for 25 years and had also worked in the real estate market. Mr. Cohen was most recently working with Home Health and Hospice in Goldsboro.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bill Ordelt officiating. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium.
Mr. Cohen is survived by his wife, Kathy Mangum Cohen; his daughters, Stacie Chalupski and husband, Rob, of Wake Forest and Jaime Rosar and husband, Gregg, of Goldsboro; and his sons, Adam Cohen and Craig Cohen of Goldsboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
