JESSE B. BUSH
MUNCIE, Ind. -- Jesse B. Bush, 74, formerly of Goldsboro, died from cancer on Wednesday at his residence in Muncie.
Mr. Bush was born in Woodbury, Tenn., and was the son of the late Dewey and Nora Bush. He served in the United States Marine Corps and retired from Marhoefer Meat Packing in 1978 with 20 years of service. He was a member of Avondale Sympathy Club and People's Sympathy Club and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rachel E. Bush, Muncie; a son, Dwight Bush of Muncie; a daughter, Lil Reynolds Muncie; one brother, Kenneth Bush of Woodbury, Tenn.; three sisters, Dean Summers, Mildred Myers and Sue Taylor of Tennessee; and three grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral was to be held today at 2 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, was to be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
