ALVIN G. SMITH
MOUNT OLIVE -- A funeral service for Alvin G. Smith, 70, of 1639 Zion Church Road, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Bethany FWB Church, in Alberton. The Rev. Aaron Jarman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rhodes Cemetery.
He was the son of Lena R. Smith of the home and the late Willie Smith.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 3 until 6 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Mary Dozier, 1929 Zion Church Road, Mount Olive.
