WINCHESTER STANCIL
KENLY -- The funeral for Winchester "Wink" Stancil, 70, was to be held today at 2 p.m. at New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church, with the Reverends Braxton Creech and Danny Creech officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Stancil died Saturday at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Deans Stancil; two daughters, Robin S. Radford of Princeton and Lena Browning of Selma; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family received friends on Tuesday night from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home.
