SIMPSON RADFORD JR.
PRINCETON -- B. Simpson "Simp" Radford, Jr., age 70, went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2005, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born November 5, 1934, in Princeton to Lillian B. Radford of Princeton and the late B. Simpson Radford. Simp was a faithful member and deacon at Rains Crossroads Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday (today) in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Calvin Heath officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery at Rains Crossroads Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving, along with his mother, is his loving wife of 41 years, Pat Sasser Radford; his sons, Dexter Wayne and wife, Amy, of Wilson and Tyson Burke, wife, Tracy, and son, Garrison Brett, of Kenly; sisters, Mildred Whitley, Peggy Sheetz and Sandra Stallings, and brother, Ralph Radford, all of Kenly; and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions can be made to the building fund at Rains Crossroads F.W.B. Church, 5430 Princeton-Kenly Road, Kenly, N.C., 27542.
