JAMES K. JONES
WARSAW -- James K. Jones, 82, of 425 West Bay Street died Tuesday at Duplin General Hospital.
He was born in Pitt County to Lula Jones and was educated by the Pitt County Public School System.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel in Warsaw. Burial will follow in the Sam Miller Cemetery.
Mr. Jones is survived by two sons, James Edward Jones of Philadelphia, Pa., and Oliver Jones of Wilmington; one daughter, Regina Jones Sutton of Warsaw; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel. The family will assemble at the residence at 1:30 p.m. in preparation for the funeral.
