WILSON -- Bettyjane Toppin Primm, 73, died Sunday at Wilson Medical Center.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, Va.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Wilson, of which she was a member.
Mrs. Primm was born Jan. 12, 1931, in Wilmington, Del., to the late Frank Karl and Margaret Kauffman Toppin. She worked as a private-duty nurse.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Charles Tom Primm of the home; a daughter, Bettyjane Gupton of Grafton, Wisc.; a sons, David Randall Hastings of Hayes, Va., and C. Tommy Primm II of Rural Retreat, Va.; daughters, Holly Lynn Wagner of West Palm Beach, Fla., Sandra Gale Thompson of Wilson, Sharen Millen of Hayes, Va., Karen Primm of Yorktown, Va.; and 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 202 N. Goldsboro St., Wilson, N.C., 27893; or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 9, Wilson, N.C., 27894.
