FREMONT -- Nicholas Lonta "Red" Jones, 25, of 308 W. Branch St., died Friday.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Greater Morning Star Church in Fremont. Minister Yvonne Reid will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.
He is survived by his adopted grandmother, Mamie H. Fields of the home; his paternal grandmother, Trumilla Reid of Fremont; his mother, Herlene Jones of Fremont; and three brothers, Tracy Whitley of Newport News, Va., and Nacarrias and Jeannautica Jones of Fremont.
A viewing will be held today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
