LEE F. JONES
MOUNT OLIVE -- Deacon Lee Franklin Jones, of Sunbridge Nursing Center, formerly of 804 E. James St., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. St. Mark Free Will Baptist Church. Bishop Stephen Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Wynn Cemetery.
Mr. Jones is survived by his children, Eunice (David) Mills of Mount Olive, Elaine (Harry) Williams of Orlando, Fla., Terry (Tenia) Jones of Goldsboro, Ronald Jones of Mount Olive, Rugenia Elam of Creedmoore, Mary (Willie D.) Pearsall of Mount Olive, Peggy (Clarence) Sanders of Dudley, Annette Parker of Durham, Wilma K. (William) Moore of Goldsboro and Vannessa (Kevin) Jarmon of Whitehall, Pa.; one sister, Georgia Lena Simmons of Mount Olive; one brother, Ernest "Red" Jones of Mount Olive; and 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Garris Funeral Home and the family will be there to receive friends during the last hour.
