ELSIE THOMAS
RICHMOND, Va. -- Elsie B. Thomas, 80, formerly of Goldsboro and the widow of William "Dookie" Thomas, died Saturday at her home.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Richmond.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by two daughters, Geraldine Tennyson of Richmond and Evangelist Michelle Hines of Southern Pines; one son, Minister Jessie Ruffin of Decatur, Ga.; one sister, Irene Wright of Richmond, Va.; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
