Wayne UNC Health Care's Shop Like a Dietitian program will teach people how to improve their family's health and wellness by making healthy choices at the grocery store.
A registered dietitian will lead the tours at various grocery stores throughout the community.
The first tour will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Carlie C's, Wayne Memorial Drive.
Tours will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Harris Teeter; and Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the Walmart on Tommy's Road.
Tours are open to anyone interested in learning about healthy shopping choices, understanding food labels, ways to stretch food dollars, healthy snacks, and different products to include in meals.
