Honor band, wind ensemble to perform

MOUNT OLIVE -- The University of Mount Olive's fifth annual Honor Band and Wind Ensemble concert will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Hazel Waters Kornegay Assembly Hall, 207 Wooten St.
Music majors, high school students and community members will perform.
Selections performed will include the foot-stomping "Quad City Stomp" and "Theme from Green Bushes," a lively Irish tune.
Following the Honor Band performance, the UMO Wind Ensemble will perform a diverse selection of music that will conclude with highlights from Abba's "Mamma Mia!"
The event is free and open to the public.
