Coach: Someone stole ATV, lawn equipment from Rosewood High School

Someone broke into a storage building at Rosewood High School late Tuesday night and stole over $5,000 in equipment, including an all-terrain vehicle used by the school athletics department, RWH coach Robert Britt said Wednesday.
According to Britt, someone pried open the door to a tin building on the schools campus to get to the equipment, despite the door being locked with a dead bolt.
"They managed to pry it open enough to open the door and actually bent the dead bolt," he said. "The building was as locked as we could make it."
Britt said he did not know the exact time of the break in, which was not discovered until this morning. The thief took the ATV, valued at around $4,500, as well as two weed trimmers valued at $250 and a $200 leaf blower.
The ATV is equipped with all-terrain tires which, in conjunction with the wet ground, made for a trail which Britt said was easy to follow. He and others from the school followed the trail down the nearby railroad tracks behind a warehouse on Community Drive, before eventually losing the trail in the woods.
Britt described the ATV as a dark green, four-wheel, side-by-side with a black bed on the back and a four-bar cage and a roof over the driver and passenger seats.
