Rotary of Mount Olive, the University of Mount Olive Student Athlete Advisory Committee and the university's Honors Program will sponsor a Be The Match registration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the Murphy Regional Center on the university campus.
All a person has to do is to fill out a registration form and have the inside of their cheek swabbed.
The only other requirement, which is the most important, is to be committed to donating if you match a person in need, organizers said.
If you are between the ages 18 and 44 and are unable to attend the event in person, you can join online at http://join.BeTheMatch.org/MtOlive and a swab kit will be sent to your home for you to self swab and send back to complete the testing process.
