Select Spring Creek Middle, Rosewood Middle and Norwayne Middle students recently represented Wayne County Public Schools in the second annual Mount Olive University Honors Choir, under the direction of Jonathan Saeger. The students prepared five selections - "Sing and Rejoice!" by Henry Purcell (1659 - 1695); "Come Again, Sweet Love," by John Dowland (1563 - 1626); "Boatmen Stomp," by Michael A. Gray (b. 1954); "Homeward Bound," by Marta Keen/arr. Jay Althouse; and "Bonse Aba," arr. Victor C. Johnson.

"We could not be more proud of our students who were models of exceptional behavior and dedication to their musicianship as they worked tirelessly throughout the day," said Tiffany Kilgore, Norwayne Middle choral instructor.
