Police investigate after a woman is found dead on Magnolia Street

The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating after a woman was found dead in the 400 block of Magnolia Street Tuesday morning.
According to a police investigation report, a man was walking down Magnolia Street from his girlfriend's house nearby when he came upon April M. Frary, 34, lying unconscious and unresponsive by the side of the road. The man called emergency services, who arrived and pronounced Frary dead at 7:12 a.m.
Maj. Anthony Carmon, head of the GPD investigative services bureau, said that the cause of Frary's death is still under investigation as is why she was in the area when she died.
