Thousands in property taken from home

About $4,000 worth of items were stolen from inside a home in the 100 block of Ruger Court in Pikeville Monday, according to a report filed with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Among the property taken was two laptop computers, a PlayStation 3, a white gold necklace and several valuable rings.
