Child shot with BB gun on Christmas

A child was not seriously injured when another juvenile accidentally shot him in the neck with a pellet gun Christmas night.
Police responded to the 300 block of Hollowell Street at about 8:12 p.m. when a woman reported her son was shot in the neck with a pellet gun.
She told police she had told the juveniles several times to not play with the pellet gun without supervision.
The juvenile victim was taken to Wayne UNC Health Care for treatment of his non-life threatening injury.
