Elderly woman's home shot into on Orange Street

Residents claimed they did not see anything when shots were fired into the home of an 82-year-old woman in the 400 block of Orange Street Wednesday evening.
Goldsboro police officers responded to a shots fired call at the address and learned the gunshots came through a window of a spare bedroom in the house.
They spoke with multiple people in the area who said they heard the gunshots, but claimed they did not see anything.
The elderly victim was unable to give police a suspect description, relaying to police that she only heard loud talking and then gunshots.
Officers then spoke with the victim's son, who lives next door, and claimed he did not see or hear anything and did not know about the gunshots until his mother called him.
