Woman overdoses in Wayne County Public Library

A 27-year-old woman is facing charges after overdosing on heroin in the Wayne County Public Library Tuesday.
Danielle Coralynn Haddock, 27, of 1303 Cashwell Drive, is charged with felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A Goldsboro police report said an officer responded to an overdose at the library at about 12:18 p.m. Tuesday and found Haddock lying on the floor of the bathroom unconscious.
Wayne County EMS responded and took Haddock to the hospital for treatment.
An arrest report indicated Haddock was charged with the criminal offenses at the hospital at about 5:15 p.m.
Haddock received a $1,500 secured bond on the charges and was placed in the Wayne County Jail.
There have now been 71 total overdoses in the city limits this year.
