Four reports of shots fired in city early this morning

Goldsboro police responded to four instances of shots being fired in the city in the early morning hours of Friday.
The first was reported at around 12:30 a.m. on Slaughter Street.
When police arrived, they found that two rounds of gunfire had struck a metal pole outside of 905 Slaughter Street, which amounted to $100 worth of damage.
Other alerts of shots being fired occurred around 1:10 a.m. in the 300 block of Herman Street and then again at around 1:20 a.m. in the 100 block of North Center Street. There were no reports of damage from these two incidents.
Later in the morning, at around 4:50 a.m., another alert of shots being fired were reported from the 500 block of Claiborne Street. Again, there was no report of damages.
