Man beaten with baseball bat, robbed of $20

A 48-year-old man was beaten with a baseball bat and robbed of $20 and his cell phone at his home on Central Heights Road Wednesday evening.
The man told police two acquaintances came over to his home at 3118 Central Heights Road Lot 9 and hit him in the head and body with a baseball bat.
The two suspects then took $20 in rolled quarters and his cell phone.
There is no description of the suspects listed on the report filed with the Goldsboro Police Department.
The victim was taken to Wayne UNC Health Care for treatment of his injuries.
