Captured: Ricky Ward in custody

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that Ricky Terrell Ward, 33, has been taken into custody in Kinston.
Maj. Tom Effler said details will be released at a later time.
Local and state law enforcement had an apartment complex in Kinston cordoned off for much of the day after Ward fled a traffic stop in the Lenoir County city early this morning.
Ward is wanted on several charges in Wayne and Wake counties and is a possible suspect in a Dudley murder which took place Sunday night. Ward may also have knowledge of, or be responsible for, the disappearance of a Raleigh man reported missing in March.
A full list of charges will be reported once Ward is transferred to Wayne County from Kinston. Effler said the exchange could happen as early as sometime this evening.
