A woman is charged with opiate trafficking and possession of cocaine on jail premises after authorities found drugs inside her car during a traffic stop Saturday.

According to a press release Wayne County sheriff's deputies stopped Yolanda Renee Lewis, 33, of 102 Emmittee St., on Wayne Memorial Drive Saturday.

Authorities searched her vehicle after the stop and found "dozens" of percocet and oxycodone pills, several grams of crack cocaine, marijuana and money, the release said.

Maj. Tom Effler with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said more than two dozen pills, four grams of cocaine and eight grams of marijuana were found during the traffic stop.

Lewis was then taken to the Wayne County Magistrate's Office and booked into the detention center.

Once inside the Wayne County Detention Center, authorities found two more grams of crack on her person.

Effler said he did not know where, specifically, the cocaine was found on Lewis' person.

She is charged with trafficking in opiates, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine on jail premises and driving while license revoked.

Lewis was given a $57,000 secured bond.
