A man was beaten and robbed on East Ash Street last Tuesday around 2:30 p.m.
According to a police report, Austin Elliott Harris, 22, was near 2421 E. Ash St. when three people jumped him and took $500 from him.
The report says Harris' vehicle was also stolen from him at gunpoint three months ago, but that Harris did not report it at the time.
Harris was allegedly going to meet the man that took his vehicle from him and give him the $500 that was stolen from him when he was jumped.
When Harris went behind the Golden Dragon restaurant, three unknown black men punched him, cut his arms, then took his money.
