Theft of farm equipment under investigation

PIKEVILLE -- The Pikeville Police Department is investigating the larceny of farm equipment which occurred Aug. 19 at a local business, according to a press release.
According to the release, two men entered Suggs Auto Sales at approximately 2:30 a.m. and stole an International Farmhall 140 tractor.
The suspects allegedly arrived on foot from the Mt. Carmel Church Road area.
The report described the suspects as a skinny, middle-aged white male with a "horseshoe" balding hair style and a younger, light-skinned male with a muscular build and a close hair cut.
Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call detective S.R. Jarman with the Pikeville police department at 919-242-5330. They can also call Wayne County Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255. Callers will remain anonymous and if your information leads to a felony arrest you will be given a cash reward for the information.
