MAURY -- Greene County sheriff's deputies captured escaped inmate Waylon Flynn at about 8:30 this morning in the woods just a few miles from Greene Correctional Center.
Flynn, 37, had been on the run since Saturday night when he went over a fence to escape the minimum-security prison located in Maury.
Flynn was serving a sentence for obtaining property by false pretenses and was scheduled for release in December.
He is not known to have committed any new crimes while he was escaped.
