Two men allegedly raped a 19-year-old female Sunday night in the area of Westbrook Dairy Road while they were supposed to be giving her a ride home, an incident report filed with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office says.
According to the report, the 19-year-old victim was at Edwards Mobile Home with her mother Sunday night. The victim told deputies a man at the residence offered to take her home after she expressed her desire to go home.
On the way to her house, the man, described as a 5-foot-5-inch tall Hispanic man weighing 135 to 145 pounds named Kevin, turn down a dirt path off of Westbrook Dairy Road and began to, "fondle and grope" the victim, the report says.
The victim told the man to stop and not touch her, which is when the man reportedly stopped the car, got out, opened the victim's door and pulled her out of the vehicle.
Another man allegedly got out of the vehicle, possibly named Juan or Jose, the report says, and allegedly participated in the assault.
The victim was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for the completion of a sexual assault kit, the report says. The rape reportedly happened Sunday night around 11 p.m., and was reported to authorities Monday night around 10:50 p.m. No arrests have been made in the case.
