Vehicles reported stolen

One vehicle was stolen from an Elm Street residence and another was stolen from the 100 block of S. Center St. over the weekend.
A man living at 2509 E. Elm St. told police on Sunday that his 2004 green Jeep Liberty had been stolen during the weekend after he left it parked in a field across from his home.
The man told police he left for the weekend around 10 p.m. When he returned Sunday night at 10:30 p.m., he saw that his vehicle was gone.
The Jeep Liberty is valued at $8,000.
In the second motor vehicle theft over the weekend, a man was using a woman's car to move DJ equipment Sunday night around 10 p.m. and had the vehicle parked on the 100 block of S. Center St.
The man told police he was loading the equipment into the 2001 green and tan Eddie Bauer edition Ford Expedition and had left the vehicle unsecured with the keys in the ignition while doing so.
The man noticed the vehicle was gone when he was returning outside from being inside a building in the area of the 100 block of S. Center St.
The vehicle is valued at $3,000 and has 22-inch chrome rims, and the stolen DJ equipment is valued at $5,000.
