Fairview Park fire suspicious

Goldsboro police are investigating a suspicious fire that happened Sunday evening at Fairview Park around 5:30 p.m.
The Goldsboro Fire Department and Goldsboro Police Department responded to a call of the roof of the picnic shelter at Fairview Park being on fire.
The fire department responded and extinguished the fire. The flames caused only $200 in damage to the roof of the shelter.
Capt. Durwood Smith with the Goldsboro Fire Department said the fire appeared to be suspicious.
