Man tries to steal pressure washer

A man attempted to steal a pressure washer from Walmart at 2908 U.S. 70 West Monday, but fled the scene when confronted by an employee.
An employee of the store contacted police to report that an unknown black male had attempted to take a pressure washer valued at $297 from the store without paying, a police report on the incident says.
According to the report, the unknown suspect dropped the pressure washer and drove away from the scene when an employee spoke to him.
Warrants are expected to be secured on the unknown suspect once he is identified, the report says.
