Victim robbed of $100 on Madison Ave.

A 58-year-old man was the victim of common law robbery Wednesday evening behind the Madison Meat Market at 622 N. Madison Ave., a police report says.
According to the report, the victim said a man picked him up from his apartment and drove him to the Madison Meat Market. Once the two men arrived, the unknown suspect told the victim to follow him behind the store.
The unknown suspect then allegedly threatened the man's life and took a $100 bill from the man's pocket and fled the area.
The suspect is described as being a black male with a short Afro hairstyle that was wearing blue jeans and a tanktop.
