An 18-year-old from Raleigh was injured and six vehicles were damaged by gunfire Wednesday afternoon at the Safeway Gas Station at 1901 N. William St.
D'Qurious Bradford, of Navaho Drive in Raleigh, was hit in his foot by gunfire while riding a bicycle near the gas station, said Maj. Anthony Carmon of the Goldsboro Police Department.
As a result of the gunfire a total of six vehicles sustained damages and the gas station at 1901 N. William St. was hit but nobody else was injured because of the shots fired, the police report said. There are no suspects in the shooting.
Carmon said police do not know how many people were shooting at the gas station, where they were shooting from, nor do police know if this was a random act of violence or if the victims were being targeted.
"We don't know any of that because the victims are not cooperating," Carmon said.
