Arts Council gets third year of support

For the third year, the Arts Council of Wayne County has announced PNC Bank's sponsorship of the Wayne County Jazz Showcase. The funding allows the Arts Council to make the concerts free and open to the public.
PNC presents Wayne County Jazz Showcase takes place the third Friday of each month, from 7 until 9:30 p.m. at the Arts Council of Wayne County at 102 N. John St. Hosted by musician Eric Xavier Dawson, the concerts feature a lineup of world-class jazz musicians and vocalists.
PNC presents Wayne County Jazz Showcase regularly attracts standing-room only audiences.
"The Jazz Showcase is a remarkable event and something we are proud to bring to our clients, friends, and community," said Jim Hansen, PNC regional president of Eastern Carolinas.
The next concert will be on Friday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Arts Council.
