Pharmacy robbed at gunpoint Sunday

On Sunday at about 1:10 p.m., two Hispanic men entered Wayne Pharmacy at 2303 Wayne Memorial Drive and robbed the business at gunpoint.
The suspects were wearing masks to cover their faces and both were armed with handguns.
They ordered all employees and customers on the ground and stole an undetermined amount of currency and pharmaceutical-grade drugs.
Nobody was injured during the robbery, and the suspects fled in an unknown direction.
Maj. Anthony Carmon with the Goldsboro Police Department said he was unable to say whether the suspects fled on foot or in a vehicle.
Carmon also said the specific drugs that were stolen from the business has not yet been determined, and the police department is working on following several leads to locate the suspects.
"There are always leads," Carmon said. "We've got a bunch of stuff to follow up on."
