Crime of the week: Authorities seek suspect in robbery

Surveillance footage shows the suspect leaving Franklin Bakery Thrift Store after robbery on Sunday.

On Sunday, at approximately 4:30 p.m., an employee of the Franklin Bakery Thrift Store located at 400 West Holly Street reported a black man came into the store and robbed her while holding a knife.

The employee provided the suspect with currency from the store and the suspect fled the area on foot.

The suspect is described as being approximately 5 feet tall, 130 pounds, skinny, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call investigator Zwirblia at 919-580-4242.
