Schools announce make-up days

Wayne County Public Schools has announced make-up days for several recent inclement weather days that forced school closures, with this Saturday being the first.
School was canceled on Jan. 22, Feb. 12 and Feb. 15 (a scheduled student make-up day for all schools except Dillard Middle). Then on Feb. 8, electrical problems forced Wayne Middle/High Academy to be closed.
In addition to Saturday being an early release day for all schools, the following make-up days will be observed.
Traditional schools: March 25, with June 13 now a teacher workday.
Wayne Early/Middle College High & Wayne School of Engineering: Friday, March 25, with May 27 now a teacher workday.
Wayne Academy: March 25 and June 8. The last day of school will be June 8, an early release. June 13 is now a teacher workday for staff.
Dillard Middle: March 25 and June 9. The last day of school is now June 9 and will be an early release. June 13 is now a teacher workday.
