Man faces break-in charges

A Goldsboro man wanted in connection with a break-in in the Mar Mac area back in October 2012 will face charges, according to a press release.
Wayne Memorial Hospital police officers served arrest warrants on Antonio Montreal Moore, 31, 707 Pineview Ave., when he showed up to the hospital Jan. 8.
The warrants were originally taken out by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office following its investigation into the break-in of the Mar Mac Vapor and Tobacco sop, located at 2339 on Oct. 13.
According o the press release, Moore is charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny and damage to property.
Maj. Tom Effler of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said he did not know the circumstances of Moore's arrest at the hospital, but that it was the Wayne Memorial Hospital Police Department that served the arrest warrants.
"They ran across him for some reason, and they brought him to the magistrate's office," Effler said.
Moore's bond has been set at $10,000 secured.
