On Monday, Dec. 14, an employee of the Family Dollar store at 1403 Wayne Memorial Drive reported that at approximately 9:45 p.m. a black male entered the store armed with a handgun, threw a bag at her and demanded money from the register.

The suspect was described to be wearing a black hoodie shirt with the hood over his head, a black stocking mask, blue jeans, light colored gloves and black sneakers. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Investigator Chris Crawford at 919-580-4213.

Callers will remain anonymous and if your information leads to a felony arrest you will be given a cash reward for the information.
