Surveillance footage shows the suspect being sought in the break-in of Family Dollar in Mar Mac.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is seeking information regarding a Sept. 22 break-in at the Mar Mac Family Dollar.

Two unknown suspects threw a rock through the glass door of the business, located at 102 Five Points Road, between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Nothing was taking during the break-in, but three bags of beef jerky were found on the pavement outside the store, the police report said.

One of the two suspects was captured clearly on the business' security cameras. The second suspect, a slender black male in his early-to-mid 20s, is visible on the footage but his image was not clear enough for an identification. He is seen wearing a furry black hat with ear flaps and no shirt.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime in Wayne County is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255, or text tips to 919-222-4230. Callers can remain anonymous and tips leading to a felony arrest are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
