During the night of Oct. 8 and early morning hours of Oct. 9 a 52-inches riding lawnmower was stolen from Spring Creek High School located at 4340 Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs.
The mower, valued at $6,000.00, was stolen from a storage building on the school grounds. It is a yellow mower made by Hustler.
Between Oct. 9 and Oct. 12 lawn care equipment was stolen from Southern Wayne High School located at 124 Fulcher Road, Dudley.
The stolen items are identified as a 2012 red, Bush riding mower valued at $8,379.88; a tan, GRA riding mower valued at $7,292; and two Echo weed eaters valued at $800.
During the night of Oct. 13 and the early morning hours of Oct. 14 a lawn mower was stolen from Brogden Middle School located at 3761 U.S. 117-South, Dudley. The mower is described as a 2010 brown, GRA riding mower. It is a 61-inch zero-turn style mower.
Between Oct. 13 and Oct. 15 lawn care equipment was stolen from Eastern Wayne High School located at 1135 East New Hope Road. The stolen items are identified as a Grasshopper riding lawn mower, 61-inch in size and brown valued at $8,000.00; a Kawasaki weedeater, red and black, valued at $245.52; and two Echo weedeaters, beige and valued at $399.99 each.
All of the stolen items were secured in storage buildings on the campus of the schools. Surveillance video from the schools shows a dark colored Ford Expedition with tan trim on the bottom pulling a large trailer.
Another video depicts a dark-colored Tahoe with rear barn doors with a smaller trailer.

On Oct. 24, the Wayne County United Soccer Club reported between the dates of Oct. 23 and Oct. 24 that their $3,500 zero-turn, 60-inch red, Gravely mower was stolen from their shed located at 3209 E. Ash St.
On Oct. 24 Eastern Wayne Middle School, located at 3518 Central Heights Road, reported between the dates of Oct. 23 and Oct. 24 four mowers (Grasshopper zero-turn, Craftsman zero-turn, Toro and G.C. push mower) valued at more than $17,900 along with two trimmers (Kawasaki and Echo) and a gas blower (Echo) stolen.
